Faulty cans & Changed formula that no longer holds
I have been purchasing Aussie Instant Freeze for years. Best hair spray ever until recently til now.
Biggest issue now is the formula has either been changed or you have sent out 1000s of faulty cans.
Every can with the new logo spit and sputter, spray out only inert liquid that soaks my hair but has no hold. Very unhappy.

Aussie Mega & Instant Freeze bad changes
I have been using Aussie Mega hairspray for years. Even during Covid 2020 when things were hard to find, I located and stocked up.
Well my last can was running low and I found they changed the can. Smaller more expensive now. Well that wasnt all thats changed. It sprayed flopped liquid and saturate your hair.
Leaving it crunchy sticky tacky and weighed down. Thinking it was one can. I tried multiple through multiple places. They all the same.
Sadly. Now I have to switch to another brand to find that just right hold but still brushable by end of day. Aussie whatever you have done, you need to go back. Like many have said if it aint broke done fix it.
We understand times are tough for everyone. So we understand a price increase. But when you change the Can by almost half the size and all the components that make it spray properly like a nice fine mist, then double the price. It causes us to turn away.
Youre losing a lot of loyal customers. We hope that you fix this problem and quickly. I miss my Mega. This is a pic of my original large can vs the new one.
And pics of it spraying and glopping up.
And yes I have washed the nozzle and even switched it with the old can. Same issues.
Preferred solution: Go back to previous manufacturing of Mega and Instant Freeze Hairsprays

I notice comments are increasing about the unavailability of original Aussie Instant Freeze hairspray. Count me in as another one.
As one comment said: "If it ain't broke, don't fix it". PLEASE listen to us & bring back the original in larger selling quantities or else you won't have any more customers for Aussie anything.

Aussie Freeze Hairspray is not what it used to be
- I loved your products till you changed the hairspray formula

Preferred solution: The Aussie Freeze aerosol hairspray with the first ingredients of alcohol. Like it used to be !!!!

I bought only Aussie hairspray until recently. Even though the first ingredient shows alcohol it's still not the same.
After spraying it on my hair, my hair is wet and sticky and takes forever to dry. Haven't bought Aussie since.

Extremely disappointed
I'm a long time user of aussie products, in this case specifically I am disappointed in the new "instant freeze" hairspray formula. It's absolutely not the same, therefore needs a different name, and more importantly absolutely does not freeze hair in place or hold like the old formula I've used over 20 years I believe.
Not at all happy and am considering not buying anymore aussie products after this fiasco, plus having to look for, buy and try many other sprays to find as suitable alternative. It's not only expensive, but infuriating as well. Why would you make this type change when clearly so many people love the old formula.
If it ain't broke, don't fix it is great advice. Completely disgusted.

They blew it. Loved Aussie for years, the only hairspray I'd use.
Now it's water. Absolute garbage.
They may not care what I have to say but saying it anyway. Bring the old formula back Proctor and Gamble.

Same here. I HATE the new formula and I called the company and told them so.
They were out of their minds to try to substitute this for the earlier version.
Amazon ratings have got to be based upon the original because I’ve spoken with no one who likes this new version. Question is…what’s the best substitute?
I am using "Freeze It". Mega Freeze Extreme Hold.
Works pretty good as a replacement. Also Following on You Tube - Sharalee's Box of Chocolates - she is a stylist and is testing other products.
She used to recommend Aussie - but no more. I am furious with Aussie.
I wish they'd make it unscented. It holds pretty well but It smells yucky.
Rusk is still making a suitable freeze.
But it's a hard freeze. Only need a little of it!
Want the old formula back
Bought 3 cans thinking something was wrong. Yes it sure is.
